Review on White JBL Live 660NC Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones - Long Lasting Battery, Voice Assistant by Kiyoshi Sakade ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

After 650 this is clearly a step forward. Noise cancellation is better, microphones are better. Subjectively, now there is no difference in sound with on. and off. noise reduction (At 650, when noise reduction was turned on, the sound became more voluminous). Autopause and sound control modes work fine (headphone software 3.4.0) Personally, in my opinion, these are the best full-size headphones in this segment in terms of price-quality ratio. I considered Sony 710, again a subjective opinion, but regarding Sony 660 - full of kaka, 660 is closer to Sony 900 in sound. I also considered 361 and 371 AKG, but I didn’t like what I heard, plus the landing setup is extremely strange and I didn’t manage to properly adjust the headband for myself (the ear pads did not fit snugly either from below or from above). In general, be sure to listen to the headphones before buying and try them on, because all this is very subjective! After I handed over the 650 to the service because of the crickets, I tried to switch to TWS, but I realized that it is extremely difficult to switch to "gags" after full-size headphones. As a result, after much deliberation, I just took 660 instead of 650!

Pros
  • Sound, comfortable fit wearing comfort, cool blue color
Cons
  • If there is a sore 650 with "crickets" of the assembly, then this will probably be the only minus
