I ordered them for my computer but after checking I found out that Asus power cables have built-in capacitors to provide cleaner power to the motherboard and PCI graphics card . It seems to me that this is crucial for a high-performance computer. Less probability of failure. Yes, they are decorative but not that functional. Also, I received a 20% discount coupon with my ASUS power supply. I went to Cablemod website and placed my order but they didn't accept the coupon. A message that the voucher does not exist? The email support and coupon provided is only valid on their global website. Hmm, make it difficult to use! Went to the global site and got the same message. Make it even harder I guess. Also, they wanted $20 for slow delivery and another $30 for rush, but still not before Revain. I have contacted support and they need a photo of my coupon, a screenshot of a global website with my opt out etc. My guess is that they just don't work together or this coupon is a scam. They are just showcasing a product and ignoring the technical aspects of a gaming computer. AND DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
