I put that name in because whenever I see reviews like this I immediately distrust the following. But anyway, I wanted a Thunderbolt dock so I could do all the typical dock stuff. I have an ASUS laptop with Windows 10. And this thing worked right out of the box, didn't even need to install a driver. Although Windows will probably take care of it in the background or something. When I connect this dock to my laptop's Thunderbolt port, my computer seamlessly switches from Wi-Fi to wired Ethernet, an external monitor is added with no fuss, and the USB ports work. as they should. I haven't tested this thing for USB speeds or anything as I don't move large files to external drives very often. The only thing I have against this docking station, and it's really private, is the SD card slot. It's very flat so the SD card basically sticks out. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'm still not sure if I inserted it fully or if it's seated properly. It hasn't worked yet, so it's definitely just my problem. But just thought I'd tag it here. Also, I only had it for 1 day. I might come back after using it for a while if I need to update something.
