Air purifier well made. That is beautiful. I think it's great air purification work, but that's where it ends. What needs improvement: 1. Add a better quality fan. At high speed, the device should sound like white noise, not like a cheap fan that buzzes/hums constantly. I'm not complaining that the device is noisy - you have to move the air to clean it. However, it should be pleasant to hear. It doesn't have to sound like a cheap, high-speed bathroom ceiling fan. I was very disappointed, especially as Swedish and/or German engineering is usually top notch. Advertise filter change after 6 months based on average price. If you use the device at high speed, due to how the timer setting works, your filters will need to be replaced every 3 months. You need to add a pre-filter to the device. It is not possible to disassemble and clean the device unless I use my compressed air tool to clean the inside of the device. The brush fibers of the electrostatic ionizer inside the unit must be cleaned regularly to maintain optimal performance, especially since there is no pre-filter.3. Answer emails from your customers! I wrote an email on January 25, 2020 and it was ignored. I was concerned that the warranty you register in the remote mobile app wasn't registered properly because my device didn't show up as registered on your website.4. The Blueair Aware air quality monitor is sold out and not available; hard to find.5. My questions about the various replacement filters remained unanswered. I am usually happy to change filters.6. The fact that their website did not show my purchased device on my online profile. I was concerned that otherwise the warranty on the device would not be honored. I had no intention of expiring the return policy and returned the unit due to this issue. The spaces between the filters are dimensioned so that unfiltered air can pass through. I was expecting a much tighter break.8. The device is made in China, although it claims to be "European quality".9. The power cord is no longer a right angle IEC cord. This is a hardwired cable that performs a hard forced twist under the device. You've definitely achieved a savings of $605.10 per unit cost. You receive a box of Blueair Classic 605s and then see the advertised 680. What did I just spend money on? I thought I bought the best air purifier on the market. Now do you expect me to shell out an extra $200 for extra surveillance? 11. I don't really like IoT devices (connected to the internet). If the provider no longer supports the device, you lose the ability to manage the device remotely. While you can control fan speed, the one element you can't control without internet is the blue LED on the front of the device. You must use the app on your mobile device to adjust the brightness or turn off this LED completely. Bad choose. I should be able to use 100% of the device features without using the internet.12. Overpriced Blueair replacement filters. Purchasing third party filters will void your warranty. My email also stated the following, but went unanswered: 1. I am disappointed that the device that makes the 605 work in automatic mode is not available. Do you have any idea when the Blueair Aware device will be available again? Did I make a mistake buying the 605 instead of the Pro L2? You advertise on your website and your management filters are valid for 6 months. There is a sticker on the block that the filters last 6 months. Why did the Blueair Friend app start counting down from 180 days until the filter change (see iOS app screenshot)? Can you tell me why I would rather replace the particulate filter over the smoke filter? I can't tell the difference between the two filter changes. I want to enroll in a filter replacement program, but I want to make an informed decision first.3. Can you confirm my extended warranty is valid? I registered it in the app but I don't see it in My Devices when I visit your website. The unit was purchased from Revain.com through your Blueair Inc. store. I've attached a screenshot of both the mobile app and your website.============This email has not received a reply. I sent the follow up email: Dear Sir/Madam! Thank you for helping me make an informed purchasing decision and for making the mistake of buying from your company. They had over 2.5 weeks to reply to my email or call the phone number I provided. Since you didn't get my email back and I can't reach any of your phones, I sent the device back. I am extremely disappointed. I had the best expectations of your company. ============ I don't usually write long or negative reviews, but I had the highest expectations for this product and its customer service. Your mileage may vary.
