Thoughtful way to install shelves. The brackets on two of the three shelves were not rectangular. I measured, drilled, installed anchors, and installed brackets only to find that the shelf was noticeably uneven (about 3/16 inch). I measured, drilled and installed elsewhere thinking I had mixed up my measurements and the same thing happened. I checked my holes and they were even. I put the shelf bracket on the table and it wobbled, indicating it wasn't square. You can easily bend the brackets, but I found the best solution was to measure, drill, insert the anchor, and install the bracket. with a screw, and then align the bracket and the shelf. Then remove the shelf, mark the second hole and drill, insert the dowel and screw. Obviously these aren't the best quality shelves (for $20! A little workaround made these shelves worthy of a 4 star rating.
