My husband and I chose this pattern when we got married 25 years ago. Some pieces got lost over the years and because of the kids so I was looking for an addition. It's very nice, but not exactly the same. They are not as heavy as the original sets and the knives are particularly thin to the touch. The ends aren't rounded as well as the original ones - ours are smooth, while the new ones have an edge you can feel - like it wasn't filed and rounded the same way or something - they're not sharp, but they are not so smooth. Also, and the biggest disappointment with them, is that they are made in Vietnam and not in the US like our original set. That's why we chose Oneida that day. Still a nice and lovely set if you're not trying to match and the price is much lower now.
