While picture quality was good, there was an initial audio lag of 1-2 seconds on all ports. I've encountered this issue on four different systems, each running a different operating system (Windows 10 and 11, Ubuntu 20.04 and Raspberry Pi OS) and each connected to a different port on the 27UP850 display. All systems work fine with my previous monitor (Asus PB258Q) on all available ports. I only use certified HDMI, DisplayPort and USB cables. It seems that the monitor's audio processing goes into standby/sleep mode when there is no audio input for a short time (a few seconds). It then appears to wake up when it beeps and takes 1-2 seconds for this to happen, so the original sound is lost. As a result, typical system notification tones and other short tones generated by applications are not heard about 90% of the time, and the opening sound in the video is also not heard in almost all cases. Poor. Their only answer is to ask you to pack up the monitor and send it to a service center. Basically, you should be prepared to go without a monitor for up to a few weeks as your new, rather expensive monitor becomes a refurbished one. Please note that most of the positive reviews come from Apple computer owners. If you plan to use this monitor on a non-Apple system, be careful!
