I am using this with an old desktop PC to connect to a 10 year old 40" Samsung LCD TV (1080p) - I was afraid this one would Cable too new for both would be my DisplayPort as well as my HDTV as it is advertised as compatible with the latest DisplayPort and for 4kHDTV.But I was pleasantly surprised when this thing plugged in and worked without any problems! Even the sound came straight to my TV I've always had problems with a PC and an HDMI cable in the past.
