Installed this under my kitchen cabinets in an hour. It worked great! I used strips of tape instead of clips. It turns out that two bands per light strip is not enough; Stripes tend to fall off. Instead of using the clips that came with it, I just added a few more strips of mounting tape tape. Four lanes are enough. The reason I don't use clamps is that drilling tiny holes in very hard wood at odd angles under my cabinet was proving difficult. Maybe I'll deal with that in time, but not this week. Update 12/11/2016: I bought a second washing machine set. Now you can see to the bottom of the tub! 5 or 6 pieces of tape seems to last forever on a clean surface. If I can think of another blunt spot with a rosette, I'll get another one. I found some old fluorescent tubes in the basement that either need new bulbs etc. or replacement with LEDs. A suggestion for my choice.
