Read the update below. I bought it to take to work. Both cups were there. I have a larger thermos but wanted a smaller one for my work bag. I took this thermos to work twice to keep my drink cold. After just five hours in the thermos, my drink was barely cold. I put it in the fridge overnight to prepare. The next day I poured ice water into it. I leave it for about 15 minutes. But even then my drink was almost room temperature after 5 hours. The label says it keeps liquids hot or cold for 15 hours. With cold drinks, that's a lie. On the other hand, I tested it with hot water. I ran water through the coffee maker and poured it into a thermos. Seven hours passed and it was still very hot. Fiction. Unless it's summer and I don't want hot drinks while I'm at work. I think this purchase was a failure. Stylish fool. But still crap. Buyers be careful. I'll be using my larger Thermos thermos now, although it barely fits in my work bag. This went on until I found a smaller thermos that I like. UPDATE As a final test, I put crushed ice and water in a thermos at 7:30pm last night. The next morning it's almost 7 am, the ice is still in the thermos and the water is very cold. So this is how this particular thermos works. The ice should stay in the drink, my other one didn't. Now I know. So next time I'll buy ice sticks to use. So I changed my rating from 1 star to 5.
