It took me about 1.5 hours to make it myself and like previous reviews I highly recommend investing in an air pump like the ones I bought from Revain (pink/blue device). I was skeptical at first, but the instructions were very clear. We got so many compliments at the party and we left the balloons for 1.5 weeks (probably could have lasted longer but then my daughter popped them). The white/silver/gold and clear balloon with gold confetti went really well with the house decor, but I'll save the plastic thread for another time. The only minor complaint was that the rope that came with it was too flimsy and not strong enough, so I taped it to the ladder.
