What can you expect from a $10 belt? Well for now it's holding my pants but other than that it's a very cheap product. The "skin" was apparently made from a space cow. How else could it feel so plastic-rubbery? Nevertheless, one side is really black, the other side unfortunately the brown from the textbook. Not light brown, sienna, dark brown. BROWN. It's good. My main criticism is the clasp. Every previous reversible belt I've owned had a spring in the reverser that held the buckle on the belt. If this strap had one, it broke after the first wear. I doubt this belt will last more than a month as the twisting, rotating buckle is already being constantly pulled from its 'closed' position. I think it will burst any day now. But hey, I bought a cheap belt and knew what to expect. hence the average rating.
