We have used these replacement parts with the Munchkin Step diaper pail and overall they worked very well. The pouches themselves have a mild scent that I don't like or dislike. Luckily, the scent is mild enough that unless you're super sensitive to smells (and some people are) it probably won't bother you. My biggest gripe with these refills is that it's impossible to know when you're nearing the end of the tube. Often times I'll pull out a new section and find that there's only about a foot left, which can end up with the bag getting lost. A few tips: 1) Ignore the company's estimate of how long these refills will last. Worth a year? Not even close. Perhaps under ideal conditions: only a few nappies a day, all sizes for newborns and squeezing in as many as possible. but even that is a stretch. It took us about 4 months to go through all these gas stations. 2) To maximize the number of diapers you get in each bag when the bucket is full, hold the bag in place before cutting the tubing to create the next "bag". over the diapers and press the contents down to compact them a little and you will often have about 6-10 inches of room at the top (do this by pushing THROUGH the pouch, not reaching INSIDE). You'll also save space by squeezing most of the air out of the bag before sealing it. "bursting outwards, not quite floral". can come off which is not very funny. It may not be perfect, but then what is "perfect" when it comes to diaper disposal? They work fine for us.
