Review on πŸƒ 18.9-Inch Espresso Winsome Eugene Accent Table for Enhanced SEO by Wendy Kennedy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really nice bedside table for $40!

That may sound like faint praise, but it is. When I first opened the box I was a bit confused. Did you know that the back of most cheap furniture is just thin sheets of veneer? These are the sides of it. In addition, the parts were unevenly painted and chipped in places. It was a monster to put together, like a rickety, swampy three-dimensional jigsaw puzzle. The parts didn't fit together perfectly, and the wood creaked ominously half the time I screwed it in. However, when it was fully assembled I was impressed! It is very strong on all bearing edges, and the drawer and magnetic door open very smoothly. One of the bottom supports is a little loose and I can shake it with my hand (maybe the wood inside is cracked?) and if I grab it and shake it vigorously it might fall apart. But bedside tables aren't really meant to be picked up and shaken. My (very picky) husband (who was put off by the price as he doesn't want cheap dorm furniture) likes it and is planning to order another one. If you're looking for a cheap bedside table that's a bit flimsy but looks good, does the job and holds a ton of stuff, I'd highly recommend this one. If you're looking for a museum quality heirloom for your living room, I'd skip this one and look in the $250 section.

Pros
  • Beech wood structure with warm espresso finish; Slightly tapered legs
Cons
  • Expensive
