I like that it will let me see who's in my office, which ones are out sick, etc., as well as how many people have access to each phone line/extension. It can be very useful when you're trying to find someone quickly during busy times or if they've been MIA from work! We also use this system with our dispatchers so we can check up-to-the minute what calls need attention before sending them back into service. There isn't anything really i dislike about status lights. They do exactly what they say - keep track of things such as call volume within different departments (e.g. sales) throughout the day.
