The glue is pretty strong and I haven't had any problems with it.
These are the first eyelid tapes I've bought. I bought it to use at night when I sleep because I have a monolithic and a double eyelid. I've heard that wearing an eye patch for some time and gently removing it regularly can help prevent double eyelids from forming. The glue is pretty strong and I have no trouble applying it. I don't know how people wear them during the day because they look very obvious to me so I wear them for an eyelid at night. Since your eyelid is glued together, the double eyelid is visible when your eyes are closed lol.
