I am a certified car seat specialist and am also expecting my first child and I love this car seat for many reasons. The load indicator is hard to find, it's very easy to change the angle of the base as needed, and it's very nice to be able to move up the seat belts on the car seat without tucking them in, as most people require. I bought it for myself as I plan on having more children and I liked that it didn't expire in 7 years but I was immediately pissed when I opened it to discover the brand new seat, which I paid for $350 was made over a year ago. That's one year of use! If I were to buy it again I would NOT buy it from Revain, I would buy it from a store where I can check the date on it. For this reason I only gave 4 stars. I would consider sending it back but I'm short on time and not entirely sure the replacement will be newer given how awful the Revain has been lately.
