Although this pair sat comfortably on my son for about a month and a half, after less than 60 days the velcro just stopped working. It wasn't from overuse and the velcro didn't have laces or anything attached to it, it just stopped sticking to itself. We couldn't figure it out, but luckily the fit was snug enough with elastic laces and held up well. The velcro just kept flapping as he ran and it must have been a trip hazard. I was very upset because they worked so well initially.
