Review on ASUS ROG II Mechanical Passthrough by Makoto Arihori ᠌

I had a goal for a long time to find a keyboard with the conditions that it: - wireless - mechanical - has 104 keys in the classic ANSI layout and a volume control unit - has a backlight Under these criteria, for a year I looked at what manufacturers offer, but I could not find the most suitable option. Perhaps they are, but either I did not find them, or they are not good enough for a number of reasons. After looking and reading several reviews on the latest keyboards, including foreign ones, I decided to stop at Claymore II. It had everything I needed and more. However, I am not an avid gamer and I need a keyboard both for an hour of games after work, and for programming and other everyday tasks. I managed to take it in October for 17 - still expensive, but I do not regret a single for the purchase. Packing and complete set on top, each component is neatly packaged. Unfortunately, I had nothing to compare with (there was a membrane before it), so I can’t provide details in terms of the quality of the switches, the softness of the stroke and the response. I chose the version with red switches because I didn't want the keyboard to make a lot of noise. According to the response, everything is quite satisfied, at least after the membrane it is a pleasure to play Doom Eternal. I also managed to appreciate the massiveness and variability of the NumPad installation, the keyboard does not slide on the table, and it turned out to be very comfortable to play without a number pad when the mouse needs a power reserve. Nevertheless, the NumPad is attached here with very little play - if you need to raise the keyboard, it is better to hold the block with your hand. Unfortunately, at first it was not possible to immediately install the proprietary application, but later everything was successful and I had to spend a little time parsing the utility itself. Charging at first took a very long time (two percent in half an hour), but soon it seemed to make up for progress and it was fully charged in 8 hours. With my use (in the evening 3-4 hours with backlight), charging is enough for 2-2.5 weeks. In my opinion, a good result. In general, everyone is happy!
