It's really big and quite heavy! Much heavier than I expected which is good. This ensures it lasts longer. Note that it will not fit a tall door, it will not fit our regular sized doors. My 2 cats love it but we also raise kittens and even they can play in it. He makes it to the door, which our calico thinks is vital because she always insists on sitting in the highest seat in the room so she can look smugly down on us all peasants. there doesn't seem to be any way for him to damage the door at all. I think the cats would enjoy it a lot more if there was a "third wall" on one or more levels so they could hide a bit and still peek out if they wanted to. Overall this is a fantastic cat toy that I don't have to keep picking up and moving around when I need to clean it. Just look at the dimensions of the door to make sure it fits.
