They worked fine for a while. The first one I used of the two, I went to plug my phone in and found the jack was HOT. So I immediately unplugged the charger and replaced it with the second cable from the box. It only lasted 2 weeks and for the last 2 nights I've plugged in my phone and woke up to find it wasn't charging at all. The first night I thought it might have come loose from the wall adapter but it wasn't. On my second night I double checked all the connections, plugged it in and waited for the lightning bolt icon to appear and it did, but woke up again to find my phone wasn't charging. I don't know what the problem with them is, but I strongly advise against buying them and will not buy them again.
