I mostly stay in public parks with no sewers so I need to minimize the amount of water that goes into the waste water tank. I put this in the sink or shower to collect water when I first turn the water on while waiting for hot water to hit the faucet. After I'm done I just throw it outside and water the tree. Each time I do this, he probably ingests a liter of water. If I was in the backcountry I could dump it back in the freshwater tank instead of throwing it away.
