Review on ๐ŸŒธ Sizzix Thinlits Die Set, Wildflower Stems #1 by Tim Holtz - 5 Pack, Multicolor 5 Piece: A Versatile Crafting Essential by Amanda Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Typical Sizzix, high quality, versatile, beautiful wildflowers

For those who say they are " boringโ€, This type of thin metal matrix doesn't have to be sharp and doesn't even have blades. You cut with pressure. Sometimes you need to put shims (paper or cardboard) all over the face of the die or just place shims in areas you don't want to cut cleanly, but this applies to all dies and is machine dependent. And it helps to move the dies over all the inserts instead of just putting them in the middle. Use these dies to create beautiful wildflower cutouts for postcards or mixed media. I've often cut them out of ink, watercolor, or painted backgrounds that I didn't like enough to use as-is for postcards, but they can look amazing die-cut. If you only use one or a few, or trim a few like I did to decorate a small box, anything will work. I use thick watercolor paper and card stock.
