This is the only wet food my cat loves. As I live in the country it's actually cheaper than driving around. My Lucy is also a special needs cat, she suffered from liver failure at the age of 2 and also takes Hill's Science Diet. I have found that when I mix this food with her kibble, she is more active, healthier and happier. She's not going to eat those pies. She is now 6 years old and worth every penny to keep her healthy and happy. I'm adding this to perhaps explain why grain free foods are better for your pets. You'll get more nutrients and take in more nutrition from day one than you would with a grain-filled diet. That's whole grain, filler. You'll also see evidence that they're digesting more food because they have less poop to clean up. For those who have dogs, this should keep them happy.
