I watched a ton of videos to learn how to properly and safely use this. I tried multiple times on the 4th of July but I could not get it to feel secure for my 1 month old. Then I tried it again on our beach day yesterday and I loved it. The key is making sure the fabric doesn't get twisted at all and you "walk the fabric". After I did both of those steps, I felt like my baby was completely snug and secure! I felt confident enough to take my hands off my baby if I needed 2 hands but usually get 1 hand under my babies bum to make myself feel better. I was able to hold my baby & my almost 3 year old at the same time. It was pretty great!
