If the item was disabled for using the keys in the door I dropped them. The quick release part fell apart and lost one of the small ball bearings holding it in the other part. It's useless without it. But the rectangular shape is even worse. The corners are very sharp and sharp, especially when carrying your keys in your pocket. It's so bad that I've seriously considered throwing it away. I suppose you could try sanding each of the eight corners, but that's a lot of work.
