I make holsters and sheaths out of kydex and I got these gloves to work with hot kydex. I heat it up to 300-400 degrees and these gloves let me handle hot plastic. I bought a pair of these gloves a few years ago and used them until my fingers started cracking from repeated pinching and pressure from hot Kydex. They lasted a few years with active use, so I decided to try them again. They are comfortable and easy to put on and take off. The older gloves didn't have touchscreen capability, which actually suited my needs better. Touchscreen tips sometimes leave a black coating on Kydex, so I have to be careful when working with light colors. In addition, these are excellent gloves for thermoformers.
