I'll admit that I'm a bit of a pillow snob. I am very picky about my pillows and I know what suits me. I've used both memory foam and latex for years and alternate between the two depending on the day. And those are good memory foam pillows. As soon as you unpack the pillow you can be sure of the quality and the washing function is a big bonus. If you're wondering how unobtrusive they are. they are pretty low. Too low for me on its own, but if you like folding pillows this makes a good base. If you look at my photos you can see the low profile pillow in the middle or top of the stack is blue (dog not included). It sits significantly lower than the brand's other pillows (on the left is the contoured pillow and on the right is the more traditional profiled pillow). This one is soft to the touch but semi-hard under the head. It pays off, but you won't be fully immersed in the mattress. Not sure why this is priced higher than some others, but the pillow should last you a few years if you change the pillow every few days. Yes, memory foam works best if you let it "rest" a few days a week. Overall I'm very happy with it. Whether or not you can tolerate the height is down to personal preference, but the quality is certainly there.
