Review on ๐ŸŒธ LUCID Twin Size 3-Inch Lavender Infused Memory Foam Mattress Topper with Ventilated Design by Brian Krump

Great value for money

Good value for money. It's an inexpensive product, all things considered. One detail I couldn't find before purchasing is the density of the memory foam - this can make a world of difference in comfort no matter the thickness of the mattress topper or bed. In this case it is not a particularly dense foam. I have several Tempur Pedic products and if Tempur Pedic is considered the gold standard, this foam isn't that dense. In practice, this means you'll sink into that foam almost immediately; At the same time, the memory foam recovers almost immediately. It offers some cushioning, as intended, especially over a mattress. If you lay down on the floor on this topper you would hit the floor in an instant, but in fairness this is a topper, not a mattress. However, I can say that the Tempur Pedic lets you float off the ground. This is also a density problem. Also note that this product is several times cheaper than the Tempur Pedic Topper. I usually research, but I was short on time when I made the purchase and after a short research I decided to play dice at LUCID. There aren't many reviews for this particular product yet, and unfortunately there aren't any negative reviews (on balance sheet). Lucid's packaging is excellent. It comes in a fairly small box that you "roll out" and stretch out. The package comes with a cutter to open the mattress (nice touch)! The instructions are excellent, the product is guaranteed for 3 years. The topper is actually slightly larger than my queen bed (I don't mind), but that's something to consider if you don't have deep pocket sheets. Instructions require the topper to air out and expand within 48 hours. Although the product will stretch, it was ready and ready to use within an hour of unpacking. The product has that plastic smell common to all memory foam products, but I found it less objectionable than many brands. Lavender infusion is interesting. I'm a guy and the last thing I wanted was the lavender festival. While this may be disappointing to some, I find the scent of lavender to be mild and relaxing - which is a good thing! I have no data yet on how long the scent lasts. The product itself"sticky". It's not a particularly comfortable feeling, but you'll put sheets over it and the sticky nature keeps it from shifting too much on the mattress. Not sure what "ventilation" adds. I find this topper a little warm, but not too warm. This is a by-product of memory foam and as someone with experience with these products says, the gel doesn't necessarily solve the problem. There is no gel in this particular product and in this case it is not needed as it is not too hot (not that the gel would help if it was too hot). Overall I give this product two thumbs up. First of all, it is based on the relationship between value and cost. It's not a premium mattress topper - it also costs less than a quarter the price of a premium mattress topper and offers great features for the money. Lavender is the hallmark. I've seen charcoal ones, but this lavender is fairly new. This topper is an economical alternative that will add extra comfort to your sleep.
