For a cheaper stylus it feels really good in the hand. It doesn't look like a cheap piece of plastic. There is a touch sensor that allows you to turn the stylus on and off. Of course, I'm not an experienced iPad stylus user, so all I can say is that it works very well for the basic functions I need. Note that it is made of metal so it can be mounted on the side of the iPad. if your iPad has this feature but it doesn't charge in this way. Still needs to be connected. Not a bad compromise for the lower cost.
