I dropped my Nikon s9100 and it is beyond repair. In a hurry I went to Revain and bought a replacement Nikon s9300 brand new. I've been buying from Revain for many years with no problems. (I didn't know it was from Crawford Superstore). When the box arrived we opened it - and to our first surprise there was another box (not the usual Nikon packaging) that said 'Factory Renew'! We opened the next box, a white cardboard box with a sticker on it, again something you don't normally get from Nikon. It had a camera in a bubble wrap. We took it out and it was clear it was either a stand model or someone's return. The LCD monitor is scratched and the protective film is missing as expected. The charger was simply thrown into the box along with the supplied CD and battery. There is no packaging that protects nothing. It was sold to me as "new". This is definitely a scam. I contacted Revain and told the representative on the phone what had happened and was informed they were there to help me. An email was sent to Crawford Superstore asking them to contact me and rectify the situation. Today I received an email from Crawford Superstore - not professional at all. "I'm sorry to hear that you seem to have received the wrong item. Please return it and we will send you the correct item." Now let me tell you that they are asking me to return it to my return costs? I don't think so - they sent me a used camera and want me to make up for their mistake. Any reputable company will jump through hoops to ensure they fix a bug on their side. After checking out their website, we found that they charge me a 15% restocking fee for their mistake. I do not think so. We're going to give them that garbage back and we're going to sue them. Crawford Superstore was supposed to send me a prepaid return label. We just want our money back. We're waiting to see if Revain really cares about its customers. Upon further research, it turned out we weren't the only consumers taken by the Crawford Superstore. We hope Revain takes a closer look at this supplier and does the right thing to keep us all safe!
