Fine for summer months as a another reviewer has already mentioned but too thin to offer any protection during the colder months. We don’t have winter here in the tropics but it can get plenty cold in the mountains. I suppose I can get some use out this cap in the lowlands in summer but I’m definitely buying a cap made of thicker material before I head back up the mountains in October as this one couldn’t possibly do what I need it to. Oh well.
