Privacy screen works very well! The screen goes almost completely black from any direction. I even had a friend tell me they thought I was staring at my phone when it was off. A tiny light can be seen from both sides of the screen if you hold it sideways, but you can't see it when using the phone and it's not a privacy issue. This screen protector is NOT a replacement for a good phone case. It prevents scratches but does not prevent the screen from cracking when dropped. All in all, this is a great budget option if you want something that protects against scratches and offers privacy.
