Review on Samsonite Tectonic PFT Laptop Backpack 17-Inch: Stylish Black/Red Design by Anthony Starr

I love this bag. My first lasted 3 years and traveled about every two weeks. I only had to replace it because I put a hole in it (and it was entirely my fault, not the bag). It has plenty of storage space, well separated, and my laptop and iPad are well protected in padded areas. The only suggestion I have is to reinforce it at one point on the shoulder straps. There is a stitch in the middle of the padding that could have been done better and my first one fell apart there. The seams here are only on one side and not along the entire length of the strap as in other cases. It didn't affect durability or anything, but the padding was visible. I took it to a local seamstress and she re-stitched it for $5. I brought her a new bag beforehand and asked her to sew it up before using it. It might even be my fault as I usually load this bag pretty heavily. In any case, I am attaching a picture of the added line. Two red seams from the factory, the third at the bottom of the black strap added by my seamstress. She only went through the factory seams, but she went through the upholstery and all, like the red ones. I included a close-up as you cannot enlarge these added images. (Never found out how.) So almost perfect, but I still give it 5 stars. My first lasted 3 hard years!
