I like this comforter for a number of reasons. It is made of 100% cotton, which makes it breathable. It keeps you warm when you need it and cool when you need it. Because it's cotton, there's no need to add fabric softener when washing as anything 100% cotton will naturally soften over time with washing. It "matches" the size of the Cal King bed I have; but it's not oversized. But I didn't want anything too big as I didn't want it peeking out from under my quilt or comforter. It works great for what I want. It is labeled 'Off-White' but goes perfectly with all white (bright white) bedding/linens. It clears beautifully. I wash on the Linen or White program and usually dry on the Medium or Continuous spin program. I generally prefer to keep two separate sets of linens. So if I don't feel like washing everything the same day I make my bed, I don't have to, so I add a second comforter to my camp. I decide if I want the same size or something bigger if I don't want to use a quilt/quilt. I would buy the same blanket over and over again and my friend has already bought one for her home.
