I've been using ancient spices for as long as I can remember and I worry about how clean and fresh I smell. I used to use what they call the "classic" formula, which worked pretty well and still smells the best in my opinion. But I have to admit that it doesn't last as long as some of the other deodorants. Trouble is, I never liked their new deodorant with a space-age formula called endurance because it was slimy. It becomes slimy and tends to stay slimy for a while. It felt like putting a thin layer of gear oil under your arm. I just didn't want to measure how well it performed because I didn't like the goo that came with it. Then a clear gel appeared, which is like a thick liquid that leaves a wet and cool feeling, but dries very quickly and most importantly, isn't slimy like other old spice solids. In terms of staying power, clear gels definitely last longer than the original formula, and if I didn't mention it, they're not slimy like their staying power formula. I recommend Old Spice Clear Gel. Unlike the other reviewers here, I've ordered it from Revain many times in 3 packs and never had a problem. If it bothers you at all, buy it from your local drug store as it's readily available, as is everything Old Spice makes.
