The look of this band is as good or better than I expected and it's comfortable. It does catch hair on the arms every now and then, but a lot less than I expected and that's inevitable with this type of strap. However, when I tried removing the links to resize, I had trouble. The tool that came with it was not of very good quality and kept slipping when trying to screw it forward to pry the pins out. The thread is the only lever to push the pins through, so slippage has rendered the tool virtually useless. Also, some of the pins were so tight that I broke a couple of the push caps when trying to move the pins. I even blunted a few finishing nails and tried to find creative ways to remove them before giving up and going for a one-sided strip. In the end this is the size I want but the clasp is not directly opposite the dial like it should be as I couldn't remove the links from one side of the strap (9 on one side, 6 on the other) . my bottom line). Not the end of the world but still not what I prefer and I wasted a couple of hours going through the 'easy' uninstall process.
