As some other reviews point out these styluses have a distinct edge in the mold which creates a hard edge on either side of the stylus which could potentially scratch your screen. I didn't find it too much of a problem smoothing the edges to eliminate the possibility of scratching the screen. They're not as good as the Nintendo Pencil, but a good enough alternative if you're careful to iron out the rough edges. Improving the shape and here wouldn't be a problem, but I imagine it drives up the price considering you're getting 10 pack for such a small amount. They fit my 3DS XL snugly, unlike the pesky retractable ones.
