Protective pad I need. I had surgery to remove the tip of a prickly pear spike that got stuck in my finger, hit the bone and broke off. The surgery really sucked and my finger is taking a long time to heal. Even the smallest thing touching this area will cause a lot of pain. Bandages alone did not provide adequate protection. The gauze wrapping was a great pain and had to be repeated frequently. I really didn't need a tire. When I saw these little "finger sweaters" it was like heaven opened up for me! The perfect amount of protective cush. Easy to put on, I put it on over the patch. Love!
