When I switched to a new laptop without FireWire, I didn't know if I could use my 3T External HD. Luckily the HD had other types of connectors to plug it in properly. I've never used anything other than FireWire so had to do some research. With some technical help, I was told I needed a USB 3.0 A Male to USB 3 Type B upstream cable, and JSAUX saved me. I received it very quickly and plugged it in between my external hard drive and my new laptop. For some reason HD didn't show up on my desktop. Had to read why it wasn't happening but eventually gave up and just emailed JSAUX for help. Your reply was very fast and assured me that the problem could be solved. The girl who helped was very polite, confident and technically proficient. My problem was that the cable was routed through the hub and not directly to the laptop. I forgot that some devices need a direct connection to show up on the desktop, so using JSAUX was a quick fix. First class cable, first class technical support. What more do you want? :)
