Samsung QLED You will never forget your first

When it comes to technology, I have a certain penchant for my first. I remember when I got my first Super Walkman, when not in use and closed, it was about the size of a cassette case. I know I'm standing before this example, but I'm just as puzzled and excited when I think of the Samsung 65Q90R QLED that I received for this campaign. First outing in 4K. I have to admit, when it comes to smartphones and TVs, I can sound like a Samsung enthusiast. My last four HD TVs were Samsung 8 Series TVs. The changes and improvements that have been made to the Samsung TV range over this period are very impressive. The first thing that struck me visually upon unboxing the QLED TV was the tiny bezels that are barely noticeable. The Q90R is slightly thicker and heavier than my KS8000. Of course, this is not least due to the direct 16x backlighting of this 65-inch QLED display. The display can get very bright and display vivid, true-to-life colors. The box in which he arrived was huge, which made it possible to reliably protect this precious cargo. The box that contained the TV had handles on the outside. The courier was incredibly considerate in offering me to stay so I could ensure the TV arrived in good condition. Setup was very easy. I was able to use my Galaxy S10+ smartphone in combination with SmartThings, which made the setup process easy, quick and painless. Assembling the TV stand is a two person job, the base of the TV stand weighs about 20 pounds. You need to fix the plastic plate to the back of the TV with 4 screws. You need to place the base of the stand on a flat, hard surface and then you and your assistant need to lift the TV and line up the plastic backplate that you previously attached to the TV with the base, then someone needs to screw the base onto the backplate , while another holds the TV is stable. For me, this was the hardest part of setting up the TV. Now the TV is set to the standard video mode, which was too bright and the colors looked too saturated for my liking. Changing the settings was pretty easy. All I did was press the home button on the remote, scroll left to the settings icon and select it. The first option in the Settings menu is Image. I switched the picture mode to "Cinema", which in my opinion made the display warmer and more realistic. After changing the picture mode, I went to the expert settings to make some additional changes to the backlight, contrast, sharpness, DigitalClean view, Auto Motion Plus settings, local dimming, contrast enhancer and finally the tint setting . . The TV sends the sound to the My Surround receiver via the audio-out/optical connection. One thing I would recommend for all owners is to go into support settings and check for software updates, which will update your TV's software, especially if it's such a new TV that you need new fixes want to install. Image provided by my KS8000. If you were to ask me, I'd honestly say that any new TV offers enough improvements to upgrade it. My previous TV was side lit and I did notice light leaks from time to time, but overall I was quite impressed with the picture my SUHD gave me. Jump into QLED after installing this set for just over a week as QLED offers a massive picture quality improvement over my SUHD 8 series in every way, from the brightness of the image to the vivid colors. You look out the window instead of watching TV. 4K Quantum Processor Most of the content my wife and I watch is 1080p and I have to say the TV's processor does a great job of upscaling normal HD content, the picture looks clear and natural, not grainy or overly sharp. .
