This bag is great and every time I take it out I get so many compliments it's almost embarrassing but it stinks. He has a strong chemical odor that permeates everything around him, in him, around him, to the point where it's a problem. I left it on the dresser for a few days and all that happened was you could smell the purse when you were about three feet from my dresser. I put a fan on it. It still smells like chemicals. Expose to the sun. It still smells. It's vapor, some sort of by-product of production, and I don't think the smell will ever go away. I am also 98% sure this bag is not leather. Some sort of leather maybe, but it smells like a shoe store next to a discount store where all the shoes are made of synthetic materials. If you, your friends and anyone you walk with, stand or sit next to can get rid of the smell, this is a great bag.
