After watching videos on how to start heating wax and what not to do when depilating with sugar, I felt confident in my abilities. I usually use hard wax on myself but I had a professional Brazilian waxing session to compare the difference. That's what prompted me to buy this pasta and make it myself. However, I only heated the wax for 5 seconds and it was already too sticky, so I just let it set and tried again the next day at room temperature (my house is about 20-20 degrees Celsius). It was still very malleable at room temperature, so I decided to use it anyway. The product is great to use with the right technique and does the job perfectly. However, after a few strips, the wax bead becomes very sticky and even difficult to manipulate to create the next strip. Luckily it washes off with water, but I had to do this constantly as the wax in my hand melted so quickly that I could hardly do more than a few passes with the wax. While it worked amazingly, it took a very long time to get the wax, work with it in my hand and then apply it a few times only to start over because the wax got so sticky so quickly. I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem but my hands are usually icy so I don't know what the problem is. I still recommend this product for home use, but I recommend you be patient and practice on a simple patch before making a sticky mess.
