Perfect Match! for my opinion

We have a 20+ year old Whirlpool Ultimate Care II, Mod# LSQ8243H. The replacement part needed was 3949247V. We replaced this part over 7 years ago for around 8 dollars. This is an easy repair if you're lucky enough that this is your problem. Our washer filled with water and stopped. Wouldn't drain, spin, or rinse. We could get it to agitate but then it would stop again. After looking up the symptoms and seeing this switch as the possible problem, 10 dollars seemed well worth the effort. Worked like a charm!

Pros

It is not so easy to install.

Cons

Installing this lid switch may be harder than expected, especially for those who are not experienced with DIY repairs. The instructions can be confusing and the process may require additional tools or assistance
