Review Updated: Having worn these shows (and other Mephisto shoes) I love these shoes and the brand. In fact, very much so. These special shoes are extremely comfortable and DURABLE. I've walked hundreds of hours in these shoes and the soles haven't even started to wear out. This company makes very good shoes. Sizes run half a size larger, so plan accordingly. My initial disappointment was the sizing but I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone. Very high quality shoes. Inaccurate shoes. The whole structure is imprecise. 1) The reason people find this shoe more comfortable than regular shoes is because the sole is too soft. But it also reduces nutritional support. Second, it increases material movement around the foot. 2) In addition, the insole is perforated. This increases the friction between the insole and the sole of the foot. 3) In addition to these two flaws, the shoes are an odd size. If 11 isn't 11, then why bet on 11?
