I bought this to act as a hub between my Macbook Pro and my two monitors with HDMI output after hitting it with a smaller splitter. The construction is excellent. Pretty solid. However, I didn't look closely when I bought it, and while it works with a Mac, you'll need to install the DirectLink drivers. Then, once you're up and running, the refresh rate is terrible due to the USB-C output and reliance on DirectLink. I don't blame WAVLINK as they state this clearly on the packaging. However, if you're used to 60Hz or higher on your Mac, the lag will be noticeable. I decided to return it and get a different hub that uses Thunderbolt 3, but based on the rave reviews for this dock I'm sure it will work fine for a PC.
