Review on 🌿 Nioxin Leave-In Treatment, System 1-6: Scalp & Hair Care for Thinning Fine/Natural and Color/Chemically-Treated Hair by Amber Powell

I bought this Nioxin scalp and hair treatment balm to use with my Nioxin shampoo and conditioner. They sell these products as a 3 piece set but I bought them separately. I deal with female pattern hair loss which is a very common and natural part of aging. However, I am proactive and use products that help maintain my hair and encourage new hair growth. I should mention that I also use a minoxidil product but could not find any instructions on how to use this scalp and hair treatment with it. So I called Nioxin support and found out that these two products CANNOT be used together as they cancel each other out. I even asked if I could use it on scalp areas where I hadn't used minoxidil, but was told not to because the products can migrate with our scalp's natural warmth. Since I am seeing results with Minoxidil I will not be using this product. In my opinion, the statement that this product cannot be used with Minoxidil is information that should be included on the product label, as it can help people who are currently using these products at the same time to unknowingly reverse the outcome they were hoping for.
