Review on Sony Alpha ILCE-7M2 Body, Black: High-Performance Camera for Professional Photography by Adam Szepietowski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is average, I'm not sure it's worth the money.

In general, the camera produces good unhurried pictures, stabilization is average, autofocus is slow on video (even faster on the A6000), this camera is definitely either for pros who predict, or for oooooochen-oooooooooooo slow shooting

Pros
  • 1) Good camera jpg, 2) relatively light, 3) good DD both JPG and ARW, 4) overall price-quality
Cons
  • 1) misses, both with native optics and through adapters (metabon MK4, 5, sigma ms-11), i. E. when I shoot distant objects and sharply focus on near ones, the camera can confirm the focus and shoot, but in fact the object will not be in focus, and this is not a problem with 1 camera, for 3+ years of using this model I had 3 different cameras, 2 ) a weak working ISO, personally, according to my nit-picking, 1600 for photos, 2022 for video, then the tin begins, 3) a terrible menu in which, for 4 years of using Sony's UPC, sometimes I sometimes fall into a stupor to find some kind of garbage 4) as I said above , but I will add because it's awful - BAD AUTOFOCUS! slow and dull, 5) uncomfortable grip, but this is solved by buying a block, I tried to get used to it without it for 2 years, as a result, after the purchase, I realized that I didn’t buy it in vain before
