Fairly petite, easy to see in daylight but not too bright in a darkened room. I guess you can either use the standard USB-A connector or batteries for power. On the bottom, they placed the battery compartment halfway between the alien's head and the end of the cable where the USB connector is. This means you'll always have the battery door dangling even when you're not using it, and the cord length (<3ft) is only there when you're using it. Hello eyesore! Another issue I've encountered is the uneven color as shown in the attached image. These fainter/darker spots appear around the area where the plastic tubes that hide the LEDs connect. Not as noticeable when it's the brightest thing in the room, but easy to see otherwise. Three stars is ok but not good or great.
