I'm loving the blue and white pattern at the moment and wanted to update my counter top sugar bowl with more style! I wanted it to hold the spoon so I could easily add sugar to my coffee without having to pick up the spoon every time, no matter how lazy it seems! That's a very good piece. I don't normally order home accessories from Amazon as I never know the quality but for the price I'm happy with it and would order again. I removed the star for two reasons: First, the included white spoon was broken. I tried to contact the seller to just send the spoon but I was unsuccessful and the only option I had was to return everything. I didn't want to do that and realized a teaspoon is fine, so I don't mind. I like it better as a measure of sugar than a small spoon, but now I'm looking for a matching white teaspoon. Second, the recess in the lid where the spoon rests doesn't look as clean as the more expensive end product. Again, for the price and the fact that it's not that terrible, I agree, but I'm not sure I'd give it away just for that odd lid cut. It's sleek, not edgy or unfinished, it just looks a little inferior.
